DD-WRT: The Power of Open Source
After many weeks of frustration, I finally gave up on my Netgear Wireless Ethernet Bridge that I bought a few years ago. “802.11B” is so old school now, it was dropping it’s connection every 15 minutes. A few hours of research later, I decided to purchase a Linksys WRT54GL (Broadband Router). Router you ask? Why? Well, thanks to my fellow geeks, Linksys finally decided to release an “Open Source” version of their commonly used WRT54G, in which they encourage you to install modified firmware. Yes, encourage.
